Genesis: Fallacy of the Programmer and the User

This is one of my favorite geek jokes

1. In the beginning GOD created the Bit and the Byte. And from
those he created the Word.

2. And there were two Bytes in the Word; and nothing else existed.
And God separated the One from the Zero; and he saw it was
good.

3. And God said - Let the Data be; And so it happened.
And God said - Let the Data go to their proper places.
And he created floppy disks and hard disks and compact disks.

4. And God said - Let the computers be, so there would be a place
to put floppy disks and hard disks and compact disks.
Thus God created computers and called them hardware.

5. And there was no Software yet. But God created programs; small
and big... And told them - Go and multiply yourselves and fill
all the Memory.

6. And God said -I will create the Programmer; And the Programmer
will make new programs and govern over the computers and
programs and Data.

7. And God created the Programmer; and put him at Data Center;
And God showed the Programmer the Catalog Tree and said
You can use all the volumes and subvolumes but DO NOT USE
Windows.

8. And God said - It is not Good for the programmer to be alone.
He took a bone from the Programmer's body and created a
creature that would look up at the Programmer; and admire
the Programmer; and love the things the Programmer does;
And God called the creature: the User.

9. And the Programmer and the User were left under the naked DOS
and it was Good.

10. But Bill was smarter than all the other creatures of God.
And Bill said to the User - Did God really tell you not to
run any programs ?

11. And the User answered - God told us that we can use every
program and every piece of Data but told us not to run Windows
or we will die.

12. And Bill said to the User - How can you talk about something
you did not even try. The moment you run Windows you will
become equal to God. You will be able to create anything you
like by a simple click of your mouse.

13. And the User saw that the fruits of the Windows were nicer and
easier to use. And the User saw that any knowledge was useless
- since Windows could replace it.

14. So the User installed the Windows on his computer; and said to
the Programmers that it was good.

15. And the Programmer immediately started to look for new drivers.
And God asked him - What are you looking for? And the
Programmer answered - I am looking for new drivers because I
can not find them in the DOS. And God said - Who told you need
drivers? Did you run Windows?
And the Programmer said - It was Bill who told us to !

16. And God said to Bill - Because of what you did you will be hated
by all the creatures. And the User will always be unhappy with you.
And you will always sell Windows.

17. And God said to the User - Because of what you did, the Windows
will disappoint you and eat up all your Resources; and you will
have to use lousy programs; and you will always rely on the
Programmers help.

18. And God said to the Programmer - Because you listened to the
User you will never be happy. All your programs will have errors
and you will have to fix them and fix them to the end of time.

19. And God threw them out of the Data Center and locked the door
and secured it with a password.

A Urban beggar

Neon flashes across the street, red and blue.
you can see the faces and they see yours.
Some familiar and some strangers, walking away
in small steps and their eyes away from you.
you are a stranger in the city,

You are in the city in night.

Advertisements bright in the walls,
you want to have these things free
But you don't want to lose your money worth much a few
Earned through ur cries and pleas in the day,
you are the useless in the city.

You are in the city in night.

Love roamed in the parks,
Spirits and laughs high in the air,
Some kisses you saw clearly,
Reminding of ur wife who left you long back.
you want to hav a sweet home, like heaven.
But you are a homeless in the city.

You are in the city in night.

One : A U2 song

             You say
             Love is a temple,
             Love a higher law.
             Love is a temple,
             Love the higher law.
             You ask me to enter
But then you make me crawl.
And I cant be holding on,
             To what you got,
When all you got is hurt.

It is one of ma favorite lines,so meaningful,thought-provoking.My theme to commerate the fateful 26/11.I felt broken at the merciless killings of mumbaikaars.Afterwards, there were no words to console them . No one thinks it s a part of indian's life Coz they feel they r much secure than mumbaikaars .Well, We indians get hurt when our pride get tarnished or soiled. This song cant be sung before them and hav to be sung by a true Indian along with ma fav,Vande Mataram.

             One life
             But we're not the same
We get to carry each other
             Carry each other

             One,One.

Football Calling: Pass Masters - Fabregas

Collection of Fabregas' passes His greatest asset is passing. Short or long balls. Precise, effective and no-nonsense. Luckily he is from Spain, the country of elegant midfielders. A member of Euro and World cup Winning spanish national team.

Religion: My thoughts

Religion is one of the thing what man is much biased in his lifetime.Given the age of the earth ,roughly estimated to be 4.5 billon years...(oh,my head ),the number of religions in the history of mankind is roughly around some hundreds.Presently Buddhism,Christianity,Islam and Hinduism are major ones.Throughout the Ages,in the theme of religion many books have written, songs sung and wars waged.

I was raised in a christian family, observing the rules of goods and bads. I listened to the biblical stories and some christian narratives from my seniors. One day during the vacation,I came across the English Illustrated Bible in the possession of my uncle. The words in this books was really easy,as i have some difficulty with grammer that time. Often, when i went to his house, during vacations to read that picturesque book..these days I valued highly.

The truth is that the sailor is not a sailor without experiencing a storm in the dark night. I felt the inner tempest in 1999,when I bought the moral text from a school I joined that summer. It contains the things, some against my church. I felt that i am a fool. I even argue with my parents in these things and even shouted "The pope is the antichrist" ,actually i didn't know who he is!!What a person I am. Instantly believed all things without testing. Oh! I love science, my great science which is the subject of observations and explainations of all phenomena in the universe using theories and assumptions. I have no compass, and i was told to be quiet.

When in college,my search for truth is googling the internet, even reading Quran from my friend and thinking in bed. It was a kind of my compass, leading me to some horizons, hoping that there will be a enough light of truth.

A sailor may be a fool,as in the Middle Age, bounded by superstitions believing that the flat earth end in a place called the "Cape of Storms" in the corner of Africa. This fear held the adventureres for mostly two hndreds years till the darling
Bartolomeu Dias successfully encircled the cape, which was later named as the "Cape of Good Hope". Well,it is a piece of history.

There is a possiblility in living without a religion.Religion is a fabricated word.
A man has to live in his world with the qualities he has with or without his consciousness. It is more important to know that,at the same time a poor and a rich is born. Well, they are brothers. Compassion along with wisdom is more justified before a religion. A religion can preach about compassion and wisdom, but Compassion and Wisdom has no religion forehand. The person with these qualities can worship true "GOD" and truth.

Yearning for Freedom

Em gonna bye,bye ,
It seems unreasonable ,
I don't wanna myself a fool ,
You know you cant force such things on me ,
Oooohhh...

Look at the way I become ,
There is a thing, for which I just cant pray much ,
Of which,I always dream day and night ,
Now I feel like an insignificant creature.

I have read a lot of poems and books ,
Wishing it to be true in me.
This so-called fanasty ,I can make it a reality.
Though I never pray,i know i might became a FREE PERSON.

Imagine a time when fanasty happens in our world

I love to see the planets so close,
Awesome a sight, and lost in the space
Not so dark, the twinkling laterns hanging up.

I dream of being a wanderer visiting many places,
Feeling tranquility in the paths,on which the stars
shedding light that dont fade away.
the people I visit,songs I hear,stories i learn

It happens only in the dream,
Ohhhh,I wake up,,,
the beautiful yet unrealistic things, lost forever

The nights after,i couldn't have it again..

I wish the fanasty happens in my time...................
